Hi, I’m Louise - founder of The Relaxed Mama Club. I’m a specialist pre and postnatal yoga teacher whose passion is helping ladies to feel comfortable and confident in their pregnant and postnatal bodies. Often when we become pregnant or have a baby, almost overnight our body changes and we can feel quite disconnected from it, like we’re not comfortable in our own skin anymore! My job is to help you reconnect back with your body pre and post baby, and to learn to love and respect it for the magnificent job it’s doing.
My pregnancy yoga classes are designed for mums-to-be in their second and third trimesters and can help alleviate common pregnancy symptoms and prepare you mentally and physically for birth. My postnatal yoga classes allow you to gently reconnect with core and pelvic floor muscles through breath work and gentle movement.
I’m also a fertility yoga teacher, and can work with you wherever you are on your fertility and TTC journey, using yoga and relaxation as a tool to achieve hormonal balance, connect with and understand your natural cycles and support you through IVF and ART.
Most importantly I’m lucky enough to call myself Mama to two headstrong and independent little ladies - Audrey (3) and Martha (1) who constantly keep me on my toes!
I’m so excited to be able to bring my sessions to the Hub, working with new mums and mums-to-be in such a lovely nurturing environment. My classes have always had a ‘mums first’ focus, and the mother-centred ethos of the Hub fits perfectly with this.
